Privacy policy

Converting a link needs no account, and most of what follows applies to everyone who visits.

Every page view and every conversion is logged with your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, a country code, the page you were on, and — when you convert something — the link you submitted, including attempts that failed. When a download completes we also record which file it was: the video's id on the platform it came from, and the account that posted it. These records are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.

We keep them to run the service, to see which pages are used, and to find and block abuse. An address can be blocked from using the site, which is the only reason we would act on one of these records.

An account is optional. If you create one we hold your email address and your download history so it can follow you between our two sites and your devices. Delete the account and both go with it.

If you buy Premium, the payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only whether your account is currently premium and which plan it is on.

Your browser also stores a random id for the free daily allowance on other platforms, and a flag recording whether you are premium. Both live on your device, not in a profile, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Some things are necessarily handled by other companies: Cloudflare serves and protects the site, a rented virtual server runs it, Supabase stores accounts, Stripe processes payments, Resend delivers email, and an extraction provider fetches media when you convert a link from a platform other than TikTok. Each sees only what its job requires.

This site is also funded by advertising. Ad partners may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure and target ads, governed by their own privacy policies rather than this one. We review the ads we serve and pull anything deceptive — if you see something that looks like a scam, please report it and we will remove it.

Where required by law you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set, and you can change that choice at any time.

Downloads stream from TikTok through our server to your device. Nothing is written to permanent storage; temporary files created during MP3 conversion are deleted as soon as the download ends.

You can use the converter without an account, in which case there is nothing to delete but the visit records described above, which expire on their own.

If you have an account you can change your email or password, sign out everywhere, or ask us to erase the account and its history entirely — send a support ticket from the address on the account and we will.
